Our Company History
Many people have asked us, "Why start a mudjacking company?"
The answer to that is complicated. Chuck was always interested in the artistry of figuring out how to level a sunken slab, and he admires the economy of repairing concrete instead of replacing it.
In 1983, Chuck and his father founded Concrete Pressure Lifting. In order to learn to do the job the right way, he attended World of Concrete seminars. World of Concrete is an internationally recognized professional association, and its annual convention brings together industry specialists. The organization offers certifications and seminars that help us stay on top of the latest repair techniques and materials. Even after 40 years of experience, we can always learn something new!
A Multi-Generation Contractor
All three of Chuck's sons have joined the family business and become trained mudjackers. Mudjacking is more than drilling holes and filling them with grout. It requires a careful understanding of how the soil, slab, and grout interact.
